100 Businesses in Seattle Declare to Be a Gun Free Zone

Every one of the mass shootings took place in a “gun free zone” … yet, Seattle, Washington has provided incentive to more than 100 businesses to agree to be a part of the effort to make the city a gun free zone. The mayor, Mike McGinn, stated:

In the face of inaction at the federal level on gun control laws, in the face of inaction at the state level on gun control laws, this is an opportunity for businesses, individuals in a community, to take action themselves.

Obama and Congress Sells Out US and American POW

There are a growing number of Americans who are tired of American lives and taxpayer dollars being spent fighting other nation's wars and defense programs. Senator Jim Inhofe recently stated that Obama's first budget cut the ground-based interceptor long-range missile program in Poland granted under a previous treaty when it was in its last stage of setup. By doing so, tax dollars were wasted. As far as Poland is concerned, it will continue the program without the US support, which means they are getting state-of-the-art technology developed by US at a bargain – We the People footing the bill.

James Woods Tells It Like It Is

In Hollywood, free speech, the First Amendment is touted regularly; however, that only covers those who agree with the mindset of the Hollyweird crowd of socialist-progressives. They are the same people who denounced the crusade against communist-socialist infiltration of the American infrastructure and Tinseltown; only because it was the truth. Films have been used to press home their political and personal ideals, indeed, family values have deteriorated with occupants of Tinseltown's help in the name of art and the 1^st Amendment.

Obama Approval Rating Slips Again - Still Blaming Everyone Else

President Obama [and progressive comrades] may have been blaming the government shutdown [about 17% of it] on the Republicans, but the truth is that Senator Reid and Obama-Progressives in the Senate as well as Obama himself is the one that refuses to curb spending in proposed bills, as well as the House passing a bill that would cover expenses but refuse to pay any taxpayer funds to Obamacare that the majority of citizens don't want anyway – when they found out how lame the program is and how it will be detrimental to their lives.

GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN: During the government shutdown, allegedly only key essential departments will be operating at full scale, which means that law enforcement will be running as usual and the important NICS operations will be operating. The NICS [National Instant Criminal Background Check System] is essential to performing background checks for firearm purchases. Thus far there have been no impact as far as slowing down response times within the NICS system.

The government shutdown has affected other areas, like ministers to Catholics on military bases are not permitted to perform their duties, not even if they volunteer. Maggie at Maggie's Notebook stated that contract priests have been threatened with arrest if they volunteer their spiritual services. So it goes in the Obama/Progressive administrative world. The question has been offered:
