Does Your Candidate or Incumbent Support the NRA?

A message from NRAILA …
In the past, NRA has detailed the tendency of mainstream media “fact checkers” to skew information to support a particular viewpoint or agenda. This tradition continued this week as the Tampa Bay Times’ PolitiFact and the Washington Post’s Fact Checker both took issue with an NRA ad running against Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu. The ad correctly states that “Mary Landrieu voted to take away your gun rights,” following images of a mother at home with a child during a break-in. The two fact-checking outfits seized on the statement and deemed it false, giving it their lowest ratings. …

Allen West: Mainstream "Media is Islamophobic" - Not We the People

Allen West hits the issue on the head when he states it is the mainstream media that is “Islamic-phobic”.
Everyone is focused on ISIS and their horrific actions abroad. But what if there were a series of jihadist murders here in the United States that went virtually unreported by the national media – impossible, right?
For two bloody months, an armed jihadist serial killer ran loose across the country. At least four innocent men died this spring and summer as acts of “vengeance” on behalf of aggrieved Muslims, the self-confessed murderer has now proclaimed.

States that have adopted concealed carry policies and states, like Mississippi, that do not require a permit for open carry have defied the predictions of doomsday gun controlling morons.
According to a report in the Mississippi Clarion-Ledger, one year after it became lawful to open carry, there have been no “Wild West” gun fights. Mississippi lawmakers that amended the state's definition of a concealed firearm by enacting House Bill 2 in 2013.

Mental Health is the Problem - Not the NRA

Our society has become bankrupt as the economy in terms with how society views life in general and how parenting and common sense values and morals have been replaced by the "ME" generation.
CNN reports:
Next time there's a mass shooting, don't jump to blame the National Rifle Association and lax gun laws. Look first at the shooter and the mental health services he did or didn't get, and the commitment laws in the state where the shooting took place.
Firearms are not the problem, the system is

Strict Firearm Restriction Bill Sparks State Senate Recall in Colorado

Colorado, one of the Western states, rich in American history, beautiful mountains with ski resorts and scenic landscape, has become one of the states that has put draconian restrictions on firearms and firearm owners. It was because of the horrific tragedy during a midnight showing of the latest Batman series films at a theater in Aurora, Colorado [suburb of Denver] that triggered the anti-firearm movement in that state.
