In the News: State Legislation and National Firearm Topics (Mar 2015)

Florida [Palm Beach Post] … the Florida state senate approved a bill that will allow people fleeing from disaster to carry their firearms with them legally. The bill ensures that what happened during the Hurricane Katrina disaster in Louisiana circumstance where national guard and local law enforcement went house-to-house collecting firearms and confiscated firearms from people leaving the area by motor vehicle or boat – clearly a Second Amendment violation. President GW Bush did nothing about it and the media ignored it. The bill is heading for final passage in the House that gives people permission to carry firearms without a concealed weapons permit for the first 48 hours following a mandatory evacuation order. Once citizens are housed in a shelter, firearm carry policies apply. People will have to find refuge other than schools and public buildings if they intend to bring their firearms with them because of the no tolerance policies of those places.

In the News: Michigan and New York

Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan vetoed two pro-gun bills that would have rescinded the need for Michigan's system of county gun boards who oversee conceal carry permits. While both bills passed the state legislature, the governor was allegedly persuaded to not sign the bill, despite the ability to decommission the useless and costly boards and measures that would reduce permit costs and improved the state's permit renewal process. It is a case of government with power beyond limitations that refuses to reform despite proof of a problem in the system.

An email from Governor Snyder to Guns.com stated:

While the bills include a number of reforms I support, they also include changes to he concealed pistol licensing requirements that may increase the risks of violence and intimidation faced by victims of domestic abuse who seek protection in court.

New US Congress to Draft National Right-to-Carry Legislation

The Constitution of the United States and its amendments are national law. It was ratified by the original 13 states and accepted by states that joined the Union thereafter. This includes the Second Amendment. 

State governments have defied and countered the articles and amendments of the US Constitution, just as the federal, central government has ignored and defiled constitutional law regarding state rights.

Fiscal Year 2015: Important Provisions in Legislation Sponsored by NRA

Congress approved the Fiscal Year 2015 Appropriations Act, but what few people know is that several pro-gun provisions were included in the Act. It regards something called Operation Choke Point to prevent the Obama administration from implementing its anti-firearm agenda.

It disallows the Department of Justice from intimidating financial institutions or severing financial services to legally-operating ammunition and firearm dealers. The bloody carnage caused by Eric Holder's Fast-N-Furious program like the 2013 gang assault on a Phoenix, Arizona apartment complex where the weapon used (AK-47) was part of that program.

Second Amendment News: December 2014

Is it not a shame that a state named after our first president has retained state legislators on a path to counter against the Second Amendment, one of the 39 delegates of the Constitutional Convention who signed the US Constitution?

Recently I-594 was passed to create a massive government database of law-abiding handgun owners. Legislators of that state attest that it is only a beginning of draconian gun control laws sponsored by a group of anti-gun folks of Washington state who have raised $7 million as they join Michael Bloomberg in the march against the Second Amendment.

In The News: December 2014

Comedian Jay Leno was scheduled to appear at the annual dinner of the National Shooting Sports Foundation 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas on January 20^th. He gave in to pressure from the Michael Bloomberg funded Mom's Demand Action anti-firearm group when they organized a social media campaign against Leno. Shannon Watts heads the group and has armed security people protecting her, just as Bloomberg has his security people. Watts has been caught lying in several interviews. Watts also has said that open carry in restaurants is an example of anger and hatred of women – and other nonsensical statements. In the following video Watts will not respond to questions by Loesch because she said she was insulted by Blaze – but has frequently, in her hypocrisy, has wrongfully accused others, insulting anyone who do not believe that Americans have Second Amendment rights, as shown in this video:

According to a report in the Mississippi Clarion-Ledger, one year after it became lawful to open carry, there have been no “Wild West” gun fights. Mississippi lawmakers that amended the state's definition of a concealed firearm by enacting House Bill 2 in 2013.

Constitutional Sheriff David Clarke Wins 2014 Primary Election

One of the great victories of constitutionalists across America this election year is the primary election of Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. - defeating the Michael Bloomberg anti-firearm and anti-Second Amendment organizations backed by his wealth. It is expected that Sheriff Clarke will also win the November election, reelected as Milwaukee County Sheriff.

Sheriff David Clarke is a constitutional sheriff, which means he honors his oath of office and encourages citizens to defend themselves and their homes from criminal predators, as well as communities according to the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

It is also a win for the National Rifle Association (NRA) for whom he has been a guest speaker for the right to carry and use firearms in defense.
