Fiscal Year 2015: Important Provisions in Legislation Sponsored by NRA

Congress approved the Fiscal Year 2015 Appropriations Act, but what few people know is that several pro-gun provisions were included in the Act. It regards something called Operation Choke Point to prevent the Obama administration from implementing its anti-firearm agenda.
It disallows the Department of Justice from intimidating financial institutions or severing financial services to legally-operating ammunition and firearm dealers. The bloody carnage caused by Eric Holder's Fast-N-Furious program like the 2013 gang assault on a Phoenix, Arizona apartment complex where the weapon used (AK-47) was part of that program.

The Act also prohibits funds for the Internal Revenue Service to target for political reasons – like the NRA (National Rifle Association) and NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation).
It also contains a new provision to prevent the Environmental Protection Agency, or any other federal agency, from regulating lead content of traditional ammunition and fishing tackle, like California has done. As the NRA bulletin explained:
For years, radical animal rights and environmental advocates have used all the tools at their disposal, including litigation, to attempt to ban lead ammunition.  A ban on traditional ammunition would affect hunters, sportsmen, law enforcement, military, and target shooters – whether or not they hunt.  There are currently no comparable alternatives to lead ammunition in terms of cost, ballistics, and availability.  This provision would prevent a traditional ammunition ban and protect not just hunters, but millions of law-abiding American gun owners.
Most importantly, the Act contains a provision to prevent the Department of Justice from ever repeating or spending funds on programs like Operation Fast and Furious. It also prevents funds being used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the National Institute of Health to advocate or promote gun control – keeping health issue institutes out of the business of firearm ownership and the Second Amendment.
Lastly, the Act prevents funds from being used by the Obama administration to implement the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that is clearly against the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Also read how the "Common Core" program is an Islamic religious vocabulary lesson in English to students in North Carolina. The same people have been against any mention or practice of Christianity in the government-controlled education system. Common Core is just another program to indoctrinate American youth for the benefit of those who control government.
