Piri Re'is Map: Historical Mystery and Theories

Piri Re'is Map, 1513, Wiki image
Many mysteries in the history of humanity became clouded because of embellishment and the disappearance of civilizations. Archaeology, Paleontology and Earth Sciences have uncovered some of those mysteries. We know from Geology and Paleontology that the Earth has gone through some serious changes.

Remembering 9/11 ...

The following video is a scene of the President of the United States making the traditional first pitch at the World Series game (October 30th, 2001) after the attack by Islamic Jihadists (September 11th, 2001) upon the city of New York and Washington, DC. GW Bush, the commander-in-chief at the time stated he could not describe the feelings and the pride as he went out onto that mound, seeing the crowd with their banners and the attitude that America will not be intimidated by tyranny and terror at any level and from any nature.

Boudicea: Warrior Queen Who Stood Against Rome

"Warrior Queen" - BBC film
The film Warrior Queen has sparked or renewed the interest in the Celtic Queen that dared rise up against the Roman army invaders. So I am going to provide a brief biography of what is known about this famous female warrior. The English erected a statue in London (made by Thomas Thornycraft) to this famous warrior queen, even naming an English beer after her; as well as a business in Australia named after her. There is also a conference named after her in UK.

From the Foxhole: Exercising the 2nd Amendment, March 2014

CBS-Detroit (Roseville – WWJ) – March 24th 2014: An armed citizen carrying a concealed weapon came to the aid of security guards at a Detroit Home Depot Store who were being attacked by a shoplifter drug-addict with a dirty syringe. Joshua J. Silva, age 26, was caught shoplifting by guards at the Home Depot (they don't have guards at our Home Depot – must just be a Detroit Dirt-Bag City thing). Instead of surrendering to the guards, Silva began to violently fight in an attempt to avoid arrest. During the fight, Silva pulled out a concealed syringe from his jacket and began using it as a weapon, stabbing one of the guards several times. A shopper with a concealed-carry permit, who saw the ruckus pulled his own concealed weapon that was a firearm and ordered Silva to drop the syringe and get on the ground. Silva then dropped the syringe and sat on the parking lot. Upon hearing police sirens, suddenly he jumped up in panic and attempted to flee. The guards let him run and allowed the police to apprehend him. He was arrested without further incident. On March 25th, 2014, Silva was arraigned on charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and first degree retail fraud. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety, pending the posting of the bond and now is in Macomb County Jail. The Michigan State Police Crime Lab is testing the syringe for any communicable disease and will request that Silva be tested for any sign of infectious diseases that could have been transmitted to the wounded security guard.

Constitutionalist Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin Lowers Taxes

The progressives and union thugs tried to recall him in 2012, same year BH Obama got elected.
The teacher's union tried to get rid of him and union teachers who thought that taxpayers should pay for their retirement funding despise him.
Yes, I am talking about Governor Scott Walker, one of the few politicians who actually did what they promised.

Congressman Ellison and His Oath of Office

Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim to be elected to Congress, who has a Christian name, but a Muslim – opposite of Barack Hussein Obama has a Muslim name and insists he is a Christian – stated in an interview with raging progressive, Bill Maher, that he wishes Democrats would come out in opposition to the Second Amendment.
But he also stated, as it seemed he could not quite make up his mind … I don't think you have got to eliminate ownership of all guns in order to get some common sense gun rules.

Mexican Invasion Reality

In an article by John Ransom, entitled The Beginning of the Reckoning for Obama and USA, concerning what Vladilyich (someone who commented on his previous article) stated about the Ukraine:
Ukraine has always been a part of Russia. The word "Ukraine" is actually the Slavic word for "Border". It has been a border state of Russia since the time of the Tsars. Well over 50% of those that live in Ukraine are ethnic Russians. I can't blame the Russian administration for wanting to protect them from the terrorists. - The Boneless Wonder Works Magic in Ukraine

Old Glory Gunsmith is Becoming More International - New Translator Installed

The wonderful world of cyberspace on the Internet has made the world smaller. I noticed when examining traffic statistics, that my foreign visitors are increasing.
So, in order to aid readers from other nations, I have included in the right column just below the search engine, a translation engine. I am pleased that the list of languages have increased as I examined the drop-down menu.

Senator Dianne Feinstein: Continues Crusade Against Firearms and 2nd Amendment

US Senator Dianne Feinstein, the infamous member of Congress whose unrelenting crusade against the Second Amendment and firearms, sponsoring the Federal assault weapon and magazine ban between 1994 and 2004 (and still has a seat in Congress) is now asking President Obama to have the BATFE to reinterpret a provision of the Gun Control Act of 1968 to prohibit the importation of various semi-auto firearms and their parts. Daily Caller reported that “at a minimum” Feinstein wants the BATFE to:
prohibit importation of all semiautomatic rifles that can accept, or be readily converted to accept, a large capacity ammunition magazine of more than 10 rounds . . . . prohibit semiautomatic rifles with fixed magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds, prohibit the importation of the frame or receiver of any prohibited rifle . . . . prohibit the practice of importing assault rifles in parts …prohibit the use of a "thumbhole" stock . . . . and prohibit the importation of assault pistols.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery: Educated, Cultured and a True Son of Scotland

After all these years the James Bond series of films, with the different actors portraying British Secret Service agent, 007, Sean Connery remains to be considered to be the best portrayal of James Bond, a character created by author, Ian Fleming. His popularity as the original and best James Bond continues today, the character being featured at 007 fan sites internationally: M16, James Bond International Fan Club, 007, Inside the World of James Bond. But for the icon of what the character James Bond represents is only a portion of Sean Connery's career as a talented and professional actor.

Wisconsin Legislature Passes Firing Range Protection Bill

Wisconsin Senate Bill 527 has passed the state assembly and now awaits Governor Walker's signature to be enforced. It was created to protect firing ranges from draconian zoning ordinances or laws regulating the discharge of firearms and protect owners of such ranges from liability; which promotes firing ranges, set up in a safe manner, be available for sport shooting events, law enforcement practice, and citizens to keep proficient in self defense firearms.
Governor Walker and folks in Wisconsin's legislature have been diligent in protecting Wisconsin US citizens' Second Amendment rights, as well as standing up to trade unions that has interfered with the right for citizens to work and employers to hire without joining a trade union.

Weapons of Choice: Springfield Armory Range Officer

Soldier with M1 and M1911
One hundred and three years ago John M. Browning introduced a firearm that revolutionized handguns throughout the history of the world and was the standard firearm of the United States Armed Forces until recent history. The M1911 uses the same cartridge, the .45 caliber ACP (.45 ACP) that the Thompson machine gun (M1928) used, and that too is also produced today as a semi-automatic carbine. It continues to be produced in legendary numbers in different configurations with improvement on accuracy as time went on. The 9mm semi-automatic pistol has taken its place, first introduced by the Germans as a military caliber of choice, infamously used by Nazi military personnel in the 1930s and 1940s. The 9mm, like its bulkier adversary, the .45 ACP, was used in submachineguns like the MP38 and MP40, once again, used by the Nazi military personnel as a favored military assault weapon, used from 1938 to 1940.

Rumors Abound, Usually Resulting in Unjustified Panic

You may have heard or read about that President Putin has allegedly stopped export of Russian ammunition to the United States ...
Mac Slavo reported, March 7th, 2014 (Infowars.com):
Over the past 6-12 months, shortages of some calibers such as 7.62 used in the popular AK-47 semi-automatic weapon have been alleviated somewhat via massive imports of Russian production. That is about to change. The largest wholesale gun & ammo distributors in the US have informed us in private conversation today that a massive scramble is on for all 7.62 as Russia has reportedly halted all exports to the US of Russian made ammunition. Our distributor source informed us that yesterday they had several hundred thousand rounds of Russian made 7.62 TulAmmo, and after receiving word early today on the halt of Russian exports to the US,they have been completely wiped out of every last round in the past 10 hours!

Steampunk and the Neo-Victorian World

Dr. Loveless, "Wild, Wild West"
Steampunk is the lifestyle that continues to remain in the United States, Canada, UK and other nations. Yet, it is not a fad but a culture and lifestyle in itself. It has a history longer than you would think. It has become a lucrative and profitable industry. It even has kicked in “Motor City”, Detroit, despite its falling into ruin from corruption and bankruptcy. The TV series, Wild, Wild West and subsequent remake is based upon Neo-Victorian in the American West; Steam-powered contraptions created by the master villain [Dr. Loveless] that the heroes must face. There is even The Steampunk Tribune, “reporting on Steampunk since 2007”. But its the gadgets that seem to attract onlookers and customers.

But what is Steampunk exactly?

Jihad in America: Enemy Within

When Barack Hussein Obama campaigned for president in 2008, revelation was presented about his associations and mystery gaps in his life. Obama attended a church for twenty years that preached racism, proven by the words of its minister – but people paid no heed. Instead of seeing that as racism, those who pointed out those facts about the shady character of the man from Illinois whose father was Muslim from Kenya, his stepfather (mother's second husband) was Muslim – and Barack, also known as Barry Soetro, attended a Muslim school there. During the campaign of 2008, it was revealed that foreign organizations and those operating here in the United States had provided campaign contributions. Why? Because he was a Christian who was a member of a so-called Christian church in Chicago? All of this and BH Obama became president.

Castles in the United States, Part Two

Here are more castles that are my favorite, found in the United States. The first one is an estate built by the wealthy and eccentric, William Randolph Hearst, who died in 1951. In 1957, the Hearst Corporation donated the property to the state of California. The Hearst name became famous when the granddaughter, Patricia "Patty" Hearst, was kidnapped and brainwashed by her kidnappers, a terrorist group in the United States.

Hearst Castle
The Hearst Castle was originally called La Cuesta Encantada (The Enchanted Hill), but Mr. Hearst called it “the ranch”. It is located near the community called San Simeon, which is about 250 miles between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Castles in the United States, Part One

Sussex, UK
Castles are familiar across the landscape of Europe, some still standing and renovated, while others mere shells of their former splendor or the shell used to build new structure. Designed to be a fortress as well as home to feudal lords and kings and their servants, fascination with castles, their construction and history, still continues today.
Most of the descendents of the first Americans, as well as many today, came from Europe. Some visited Europe in the 19th and early 20th century and were inspired to build their own castles in the United States. There are more castles than one would imagine here in the USA, some looking like castles and others just mansions with castle characteristics – and huge.

Celts and Norse: A Cultural Brotherhood

Alesia Vercingetorix Surrenders to Julius Caesar
I learned much about my maternal ancestry from our family historian, Charles Peek, and was surprised how far back into time he had been able to recover. It seems that the McBean, later shortened Bean, ancestry began in Scotland and Norse marriage. He traced McBean (or McBen) as far back as the clan was recorded fighting the English (Anglo-Saxon) with William Wallace in the 14th century. Researching the geographical area and other related people, it led me to find out that Norsemen (Vikings) had settled and taken wives in Scotland and Ireland as far back as the 8th century. Apparently, according to DNA and genealogical research, this mingling was not uncommon and also occurred between Germanic Celts in Europe and Pict/Celts of Britannia.

Contemplating the 2014 Fishing Season and Other Concerns

It's the early morning hours (5:30) and the temperature with wind chill (minimal wind) is 5°F, with tons of snow mounds everywhere, but my thoughts turn to the coming fishing season; at least for those that do not ice fish. Soon, hopefully, the ice will retreat and May will come soon enough when the Bassmaster Tournament begin the annual ritual here on Lake Michigan, as well as various spots across the nation. The temperatures will begin to average in the lower thirties during the day, but dropping into the teens at night. My what a change for me when I moved from Georgia, where I mustered out into retirement from the US Army!

Ronald Reagan: Gun Control, Second Amendment, and Immigration

Ronald Reagan entered the 1980 presidential campaign as a supporter of the Second Amendment and its right to keep and bear arms. In a Guns and Ammo magazine issue in 1975, Ronald Reagan wrote:
In my opinion, proposals to outlaw or confiscate guns are simply unrealistic panacea.
His ideology was that violent crime would never be eliminated, with or without gun control. He was in favor of laws that targeted those who misuse firearms. He added:
The Second Amendment leaves little, if any, leeway for the gun control advocate … the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms must not be infringed if liberty in America to survive.

Book Report: Organized Crime: The Unvarnished Truth About Government

Organized Crime: The Unvarnished Truth About Government by Thomas J. DiLorenzo.
It is a book that begins with a section entitled “Coercion and Regulation” and analyzes aspects of government regulation of business, reinforcing G. Edward Griffin's Jekyll Island story of how the Federal Reserve was founded by powerful financiers of the early 20th century and at the same time how the federal income tax system was initiated by a 16th Amendment that should never have passed in Congress or been ratified.
Organized Crime is also a collection of essays that by section covers subjects like “Politics and Thieves”, “Centralization versus Liberty”, “Money and the State”, “Workers and Unions”, and Truth and Lies About Markets”.
DiLorenzo has uncovered the layers of deceit and propaganda over the decades and exposes the declination of the free, constitutional republic that the Founders created; and does so in a straightforward manner. He has written two other books about Abraham Lincoln, of which I did not agree and repute; however, this book reveals the problem our government has become as citizens fell into apathy and misinformed of what is truly going on.
Get your copy of this book at Amazon [link below] and see how government has worked over the decades as an organized crime syndicate operated by political bosses backed by wealthy godfathers, just as ruthless as what the FBI has been fighting since its inception. You won't be disappointed in content and trove of sourced truths.

United States Army National Museum Scheduled for 2018

US Army National Museum - rendition
The archives of the military history of the United States and museum support center is located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The United States Army has a list of 16,000 art pieces that have been collected over the decades – and that is just the artwork collected. There are firearms and uniforms of famous generals, et cetera. Problem is that the place has high security and not set up to receive public traffic like a museum. Thus, as the Washington Post reported, a museum is in the planning that will give access to the wonderful archive and a plan is in the works to raise millions of dollars to make that plan come true. It will be the National United States Army Museum
