H.R. 1454: Attempt to Control Commercial Ammunition

Democrats are relentless when it comes to controlling everything, depriving rights of majority for minority. They could not ban firearms in US Congress (but state governments have passed draconian, anti-constitutional and useless control on firearms), so now they focus upon ammunition; for without ammunition firearms are nothing. They pass or try to pass laws pretending they are protecting something; often it is about subjects that they personally know nothing about or even understand what or how the bill reads, like Obamacare (Affordable Healthcare legislation).

H.R.1454, The Modernized Law Enforcement Officers Protection Act of 2015 is a bill sponsored and co-sponsored by three Democrats: Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA), who disapproved the Keystone Pipeline; Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), and Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) – all whose states defy the US Constitution (especially 2^nd Amendment) and foster an American version of socialism to replace our constitutional republic.

Wisconsin Senate Passes 48-Hour Handgun Waiting Period Repeal

Wisconsin Senate Bill 35 passed on a voice vote and Governor Walker has already stated that he will approve the measure to end the 40-year-old outdated bill.
ALSO:  Ohio now recognizes all valid conceal-carry permits from all states.

April 21st: SB 35 Scheduled for Vote - Repeal 48-Hour Waiting Period

On April 21^st, Senate Bill 35 is scheduled to be considered by the Wisconsin state Senate, sponsored by Senator Van Wanggaard (R-21) that will repeal the 48-hour waiting period for handgun purchases. It is a move to update legislation to match the Second Amendment concealed carry law. The law, first enacted in 1976, was passed before background checks were processed. The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) makes the 48-hour waiting period unnecessary - wasting time for the purchaser and the dealer. SB 35, when passed and signed by Governor Scott Walker, will allow a licensed firearm dealer to transfer ownership of a handgun following notice from the Department of Justice that the purchaser has passed a background check and not prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Contact your state Senator and respectfully urge him or her to vote YES to the passing of SB 35. If your state rep or senator has already committed to passing this important bill, then do not hesitate to contact him or her and thank them.

IRS, Gun Control, and a Fair Tax System

Lois Lerner, former IRS official will not be charged with contempt of Congress by the Justice Department despite the fact she refused to testify at a congressional hearing investigating her role in denying or delaying applications for tax-exempt status of the Tea Party and organizations for limited government. It comes to no surprise because government officials are rarely prosecuted for clear violations of the people's liberties and/or unethical misconduct; yet federal prosecutors process criminal charges against whistleblowers. John Kiriakou is a good example. He was a whistleblower concerning the CIA's use of torture and was the only one prosecuted.  

Myth and Conception of Suppressors

The federal government has, over the decades increasingly passed legislation that puts it in control of the people and many laws and regulations counter the fundamental freedom of choice that the Founders encouraged, but did not mention it specifically when putting together what became known as the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the Constitution of the United States.

Progress has been made in the protection of rights clearly established in the Second Amendment, but there are laws and regulations that should not have passed by federal and state government. Recently, Wisconsin did away with the useless draconian law that forbade hunting with a crossbow, despite allowing bow hunting during prescribed season. Hunting permits make sense because it limits hunting to a season and is tailored toward the population of hunted animals. It prevents like what happened in Wisconsin when turkeys became extinct in certain areas because of open hunting, and hunting itself prevents overpopulation of animals that creates a problem concerning disease and starvation for lack of food.

Governor of Kansas Signs New Conceal Carry Law

Kansans already have the right to carry a firearm openly without a permit, as long as they are not prohibited by law from possessing a firearm. However, under current law, if a firearm becomes covered by a coat or if a woman prefers to carry a firearm for protection in her purse, he or she would need a concealed carry handgun license. The new law simply extends permitless open carry to permitless concealed carry, allowing law-abiding gun owners to protect themselves and their loved ones in the manner that best suits their needs. Kansas’ permitting system remains the same under the new law. People who obtain permits still enjoy the reciprocity agreements that Kansas has with other states.

Second Amendment Enforcement Act and 144th Annual NRA Meeting

Senator Marco Rubio (FL) and Representative Jim Jordan (OH) introduced The Second Amendment Enforcement Act of 2015 in both the US Senate and House. The bills intend to restore the individual right for law-abiding DC residents to Keep and Bear Arms to defend themselves in accordance with the law. It will allow DC residents to purchase firearms from licensed dealers in VA and MD without the draconian firearm registration system of DC.

US Supreme Court Upholds Wisconsin Voter ID Law

The US Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of the Wisconsin Voter ID law that requires a photo identification in order to vote. Hopefully more states will follow to prevent fraudulent voting practiced by the Democrat Party for more than 50 years. With Obama's unconstitutional amnesty and back-door processing of illegal immigrants this is an important move in deterring corruption within the voting system as well as government. Judging from the background of the SCOTUS justices, it is a happy surprise that they are abiding by their oaths of office and protecting the Constitution and using common sense when it comes to applying it to legislative actions.

Hooray for Governor Walker and the Wisconsin legislature for standing up against corruption. If voting becomes corrupted, which it has, it means that legitimate voters are not being heard. Evidence points towards the marginal lead in winning Election 2012 was because of illegal voting actions across the nation, for example, dead people voting, those with fraudulent identification voting, and people voting more than once.

Before I announce a landmark bill passing the Wisconsin senate committee, I would like to make a point about the Second Amendment versus those who think that if firearms do not exist in public life there would be none or little crimes of violence or accidental deaths …

Let us replace firearms with the motored vehicle and what you would think if, in order to purchase a vehicle, because they can be dangerous in the wrong hands, a person must …

• Wait for 48 hours to pick up the vehicle even though that person has a valid driver's license. Included in that waiting period is an extra fee to the state government for their time and effort of hindering your freedom.
• Motor vehicle cannot be purchased with a maximum speed of 30 mph., because the faster one goes, the more damage occurs.
• Fuel tanks on motor vehicles can only be five gallons, because the farther one goes there is a chance for bodily injuries and death.
• Only certain vehicles can be manufactured because the consensus states that certain vehicles make people want to do unlawful things.
• Only law enforcement and the military will be allowed to have vehicles that are beyond the aforementioned mandates.

Obama has bypassed regulations and Congress by making millions of lawbreakers citizens. Now, through the FCC, he plans to take over the Internet – the last free enterprise. The FCC will regulate the Internet under rules written for monopoly utilities. The ruling plan has been kept secret and no details of the proposed takeover has not been revealed to Congress. The new regulation is supposed to be more than 300 pages. Big Government has taken over our economy, which includes healthcare that represents one-fifth of US gross national product.

Good News in Wisconsin: Two Bills Introduced in Legislature to End 48-Hour Wait

Senate Bill 35 and Assembly Bill 49 have been introduced in the Wisconsin State Legislature, and if passed, will repeal Wisconsin's 48-hour waiting period for handgun purchases.

As other states have done, waiting period state laws required for firearm purchases have been repealed because it has never been proven that it deters anyone from committing a crime with a firearm and it punishes lawful citizens with waiting periods and state fees for firearm background checks.

The humane method of capital punishment, the death sentence, has been jeopardized because the European Union issued restrictions making it harder to obtain drugs used in lethal injections. It is part of the protest against capital punishment in the United States by members of the EU.

The Wyoming House of Representatives has found a way to counter the problem of obtaining the necessary drugs, that have come to be quite expensive, with a cheaper way – via ammunition. The ^th that would legalize firing squads as a means of state execution. Senate File 13 passed with a vote of 32-28 and only after an amendment was added to ensure that any death row inmates would be rendered unconscious before being shot.

Wyoming House passed a bill on February 12

Current laws dictate that if lethal injections are not available, executions will be conducted with lethal gas; but the state has no working gas chamber and the maintenance of one is too costly. Consideration of bringing back electrocution was also deemed too costly.

Is it not odd that massacres involving firearms occurs only in “Gun-Free Zones” … it is a testament that gun control enthusiasts pay more attention to emotion than logic and their laws that is supposed to make our country “safer” only harasses those that are law-abiding citizens who have the right to “keep and bear” arms.

In the News: Firearm Legislation, Politics, and Living with Wolves

Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) introduced S. 263 and Representative Bob Gibbs (R-Ohio) introduced H.R. 578 to protect the rights of gun owners on lands owned or managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

In May of 2009, legislation passed that reduced restrictions concerning possession of firearms for self-defense in National Parks and Wildlife Refuge lands. The legislation instituted the rules that federal lands must incorporate the laws of the state where the lands are located. Unfortunately, it did not include millions of acres of recreational land managed by the Corps, which owns or manages 11.7 million acres that include 400 lakes and rivers, 90,000 campsites, and 4,000 miles of trails. The Corps policy forbade visitors to the Corps managed lands to lawfully possess a firearm while on Corps land.

Fiscal Year 2015: Important Provisions in Legislation Sponsored by NRA

Congress approved the Fiscal Year 2015 Appropriations Act, but what few people know is that several pro-gun provisions were included in the Act. It regards something called Operation Choke Point to prevent the Obama administration from implementing its anti-firearm agenda.

It disallows the Department of Justice from intimidating financial institutions or severing financial services to legally-operating ammunition and firearm dealers. The bloody carnage caused by Eric Holder's Fast-N-Furious program like the 2013 gang assault on a Phoenix, Arizona apartment complex where the weapon used (AK-47) was part of that program.

Gun Control Should Not Be a Health Issue

One of the things about the government getting involved with health care that I warned folks about was that 'medical professionals' have gotten into the gun control fray; which started when the CDC (Center for Disease Control) got involved with gun control using the excuse that it concerned 'public health'.

Mike Weisser at a Huffington Post blog calls himself “Mike the Gun Guy” - but it is misleading like 98% of what progressives write about. It should be: 'Mike the Anti-Gun Guy'. Oddly, he states he has been in the gun business as a retailer, wholesaler, importer, and firearms trainer with an NRA life membership – having a Ph.D. In economic history. Is it not hypocrisy to make a living for 35 years selling firearms and then provide ammunition for the anti-gun movement?

A land of beautiful mountains, surfing, the Motion Picture Industry, once the state with the most technological companies until they taxed them to death and moved, the land of fake boobs, fake people, nest-bed of socialism (McCarthy was right), abusive regulations, high taxation, and growing totalitarian state.

Energy Bill Passes House - Senator Reid Holding It Up. Again

Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, has been notorious for being against proposed energy bills that would boost the economy and actually create more jobs, passing the House of Representatives, but languishing or failing to pass the Senate. The proposed bills would also reduce the cost of energy for Americans. Of course, Reid was instrumental in approval of a Chinese solar company that his son set up to sell land in the American West to them, part of Harry Reid's long list of ethical scandal- mostly over real estate transactions.
