Coming Soon: "Obamanet" - You Can Keep Your Freedom If You Want It

Sword-at-the-Ready image
Obama and associates have taken over your healthcare and made the IRS gestapo more powerful. It has given unconstitutional authority to the FCC and EPA. Obama has bypassed regulations and Congress by making millions of lawbreakers citizens. Now, through the FCC, he plans to take over the Internet – the last free enterprise. The FCC will regulate the Internet under rules written for monopoly utilities. The ruling plan has been kept secret and no details of the proposed takeover has not been revealed to Congress. The new regulation is supposed to be more than 300 pages. Big Government has taken over our economy, which includes healthcare that represents one-fifth of US gross national product.
As L. Gordon Cravitz wrote at Wall Street Journal wrote:
Bureaucrats can review the fairness of Google ’s search results, Facebook ’s news feeds and news sites’ links to one another and to advertisers. BlackBerry is already lobbying the FCC to force Apple and Netflix to offer apps for BlackBerry’s unpopular phones. Bureaucrats will oversee peering, content-delivery networks and other parts of the interconnected network that enables everything from Netflix and YouTube to security drones and online surgery. … This week Mr. Obama’s bureaucrats will give him the regulated Internet he demands. Unless Congress or the courts block Obamanet, it will be the end of the Internet as we know it.
Liberals want big government and now they got it. Unfortunately, those of us who demand a constitutional limited government will suffer along with the morons who put this egotistical narcissist in office.
Townhall, Conn Carroll:
Wheeler's new regulations essentially turn internet service providers into public utilities the same way Obamacare turned health insurance companies into heavily regulated wards of the state. And just as Obamacare has expanded paper health coverage to millions of Americans, while making it much harder for most people to actually see a doctor, net neutrality will also bring uncertainty and stagnation to the internet in the name of providing equal access to all.
Will the wimpy Republicans who have the majority do what needs to be done?
Not holding my breath.
The GOP record of having the majority always ends up not performing actions promised when asked to be elected – or compromise constitutional law in favor of appeasing the opposing political club. Too many RINOs in GOP membership and leadership.
Like Obamacare, the word is that "We can keep our Internet" after it is regulated to death and fulfills their tax goal to support their out-of-control spending. See how far your First Amendment rights [and other rights/liberties] go now.
Washington Post:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ...  Things have worked well. There is no better platform in the world to start a new business than the Internet in the United States. ... I want there to be fast lanes because there will be applications that need fast lanes. We are just now entering a period where we are seeing new ways to create and use high bitrate applications.
Heritage Foundation: 8 Myths about Net Neutrality
Proposed FCC regulation of the Internet, widely called “net neutrality” regulation, is as misunderstood as it is dangerous to the digital revolution and the U.S. economy. Rather than a long-standing set of rules that have protected innovators, net neutrality is a recently articulated idea that threatens innovation. Rather than a tool to introduce competition in a monopoly market, it would discourage competition in what is now a dynamic marketplace. These and other misconceptions obscure the lack of a compelling case for FCC regulation, and the dangers to Americans that such regulation would pose.

-- Keith Koffler: "Welcome to the Obamanet".
-- Krauthammer:
In a decade, Iran can essentially become a legitimate nuclear power . . . This will mean a lifting of the sanctions, so Iran will be with a very strong economy, undeterred, nothing in any way holding it back; it’s simply catastrophic . . . It is an unbelievably bad deal. It makes the Cuba deal look like a really good bargain.
-- Stossel: "Kochs and Unions".
-- Allen West: A Despotic President - if Congress does not agree or take action, then Obama goes through with whatever he desires and can think up. ...
There are consequences for ICE personnel who do not follow Obama's orders - whether they are against immigration laws and constitution.
...I would ask President Obama to show me where he has the enumerated power to make rules on matters of naturalization? And please, don’t give me the “prosecutorial discretion” line and also don’t try the politicized argument that Congress did not pass a bill. I see nowhere in the Constitution that states, “if the Legislative branch doesn’t pass what the Executive branch wants, then by prosecutorial discretion, the Executive branch can do as it wishes — temporarily or permanently.”-- Allen West
-- Jindal: ...
...according to the smart guys in Washington, we can’t repeal it [Obamacare] and start over. If that is true, and fortunately it is not, there really would be no need for two political parties.

-- Green: EPA Prolonging Keystone.
-- Coulter ... Illegal Aliens Deliver! ...
...politicians and the media only want to give us war, while aiding the enemy in the war we're already in, here at home.
West: Obama "Hope and Change" policies and the Ten Planks of Socialism via Communist Manifesto. ... US Democrat Party has similar goals/agenda in their party political platform in a short-term and long-term agenda.
1. Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
