Remembering 9/11 ...

The following video is a scene of the President of the United States making the traditional first pitch at the World Series game (October 30th, 2001) after the attack by Islamic Jihadists (September 11th, 2001) upon the city of New York and Washington, DC. GW Bush, the commander-in-chief at the time stated he could not describe the feelings and the pride as he went out onto that mound, seeing the crowd with their banners and the attitude that America will not be intimidated by tyranny and terror at any level and from any nature.

 What a difference more than ten years later when on September 11th, a unit of Islamic Jihadists attacked an embassy complex in Benghazi and its personnel fought for seven hours and died while the commander-in-chief slept after giving the command to "stand down" to those requesting his permission to rescue Ambassador Stevens and Navy Seals who disobeyed that stand-down order.

Never forget that freedom can only be retained by constant vigilance - both home and abroad; and never forget the stories of heroes from the ranks of our citizens on that fateful day, September 11th, 2001. Never forget that once freedom and liberties are lost, they are never regained.
What happened to America? How could US flags be removed and other such icons of our nation because of a report that people are "offended".
