Sweet potatoes are the traditional side
dish for the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here is a great

4 cups sweet potato, cubed
½ cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
½ teaspoon sea salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter,
softened
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsalted butter,
softened
1//2 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 325-degrees. Put sweet potatoes in medium saucepan with water to cover. Cook over medium high heat until tender; drain and mash.
- Mix sweet potatoes, white sugar, eggs, salt, butter (4 tbsp), milk, and vanilla extract in large bowl. Transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Mix brown sugar and flour in medium bowl. Cut in the butter (3 tbsp) until mixture is coarse. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle mixture over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until topping is lightly brown.
