One of my favorite Italian dishes ...
CHICKEN CACCIATORE
1 to 2 green onions,
chopped
3 pounds chicken, cut
2 cans (6 oz.) tomato
paste
1 can sliced mushrooms (4
oz), drained
1 Bay leaf
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cloves minced garlic
2 teaspoons oregano
½ teaspoon Basil
½ cup dry, white wine
Cooked spaghetti
- Put chopped onion in Crock Pot and add chicken.
- I a bowl, stir in tomato paste, mushrooms, herbs and wine. Pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or high for 4 hours. (If cooking on high you should to stir occasionally)
