ARES Defense SCR Carbine

The ARES Defense model SCR is an all-American sporting rifle with an upper receiver that will accommodate most modern optics. The special feature is that it is offered in .223/5.56mm and 7.62x39mm for those who like the Russian AK-47 ammunition. It comes with a 5-round magazine, but will accept any AR15/M16 magazine in the .223/5.56mm caliber. The company also offers a belt feed NATO M27 linked ammo feature that is interchangeable between magazine and belt feed. Models have quick-change barrels with a MIL-STD 1913 rail interface system for accessories.
